《香港十大優質社會服務計劃選舉》宗旨是透過公開、公平及公正的選舉，肯定一些優秀的社會服務對社會的貢獻，從而提高公眾對社會服務工作的認知和認同,並希望為社會樹立服務典範，發揮楷模作用。
The purpose of the "Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Community Services Award" is to recognize outstanding social services for their contributions to society through an open, fair, and just election. This aims to enhance public awareness and recognition of social service work, and to set service models for society.
香港由一個寂寂無名的小漁港，迅速發展成為舉世知名的國際大都會，全賴香港人努力拼搏、自強不息的獅子山精神。而在經濟發展的同時，社會上仍然有很多弱勢社群需要大家去關心支持，而優質的社會服務定能發揮其功能，為香港構建一個更和諧的社會。
Hong Kong has rapidly developed from a fishing village into a world-renowned international metropolis, thanks to the hardworking and resilient spirit of its people. Despite economic development, there are still many vulnerable groups in society that need care and support. Quality social services can play a crucial role in building a more harmonious society in Hong Kong.
國際獅子總會中國港澳303區植根香港超過60載，一直致力於在香港、澳門及中國不同地方推行不同類型的社會服務,幫助有需要人士。為了帶動「我們服務」的精神及推動更多優秀服務，特此舉辦是次選舉以表揚優質的社會服務計劃。
Lions Clubs International District 303 Hong Kong & Macao, China has been rooted in Hong Kong for over 60 years, consistently implementing various types of social services in Hong Kong, Macau, and different parts of China. To promote the spirit of "We Serve" and encourage more outstanding services, this election is organized to recognize quality social service programs.
為達到公開、公平及公正的原則，是次選舉將邀請著名會計師事務所及社會上不同界別的知名人士加入星級評審團，而獅子會舉辦的社會服務將不能夠參選。
To ensure openness, fairness, and justice, the election will invite renowned accounting firms and well-known individuals from different sectors of society to join the judging panel. Social services organized by the Lions Clubs will not be eligible to participate.
參選團體資格：香港註冊非牟利機構、非政府機構（NGO）、 社會企業或企業社會責任（CSR）計劃
評選標準：服務理念的創新性、對社會之貢獻(包括服務對象及受惠人數)、策劃與執行、提升社會服務意識、資源選用、可持續性、義工參與、公眾參與
Eligibility for participation: Non-profit organizations registered in Hong Kong, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), social enterprises, or corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs.
Evaluation criteria: Innovation of service concepts, contributions to society (including the target service groups and beneficiaries), planning and execution, raising awareness of social services, resource utilization, sustainability, volunteer participation, and public involvement.
